We would like to take this opportunity to show you how Raj and his team love to design off-the-beaten-track treks which are accessible to the majority of travellers and provide a positive impact on local people living in more remote areas of Nepal.

8 Days: Nepal Panorama Trek

Off the beaten path - Epic Wellness Adventure with Optional Paragliding.

  • One of the most-secluded trekking routes in a non-touristic part of the Nepal Himalayas. (This is one of truly off-the-beaten-path treks that is not mapped commercially. It is on the south side of the Manaslu region.)

  • Most beautiful trekking areas in Nepal with one of the most expansive panoramic views in the Himalayas.

  • Visit remote villages of authentic Nepal and engage with local people in a responsible and ethical way. Witness traditions and cultures and help to protect them.

  • Ideal for families, less fit and elderly adventurers as the altitude doesn’t go above 2100 meters, and daily hiking is 5-6 hours at a relaxed pace.

  • Also available during the winter months (Oct to Jun) as the height is not too high (by Himalayan standards).

  • The route has historical significance and is in an area where many Gurkha soldiers were recruited from.

  • Option to go paragliding at the end of the trekking section!

  • This trip is operated in adherence to our responsible and sustainable travel policy

    • It promotes tourism dispersal by taking you to a more remote, less-trafficked region of West Nepal.

    • Provides employment opportunities for many locals as all camping gear, equipment, and food need to be carried by porters or pack animals.

    • Purchase fresh organic food along the trail to support communities and provide healthy, fresh food.

    • All water on the trek is filtered, reducing the need to boil water using kerosene.

  • Trekking chefs use superfood ingredients to give trekkers top quality and healthy nourishment to support their activity and to strengthen their immune systems.

This Nepal Panorama trek takes place in a remote and largely undiscovered trekking region in Nepal. Most visitors to Nepal are only aware of the popular regions like Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang regions and we want to encourage visitors to widen their experiences. This trek is in central Nepal that is largely unknown to adventure tourists because it does not have ‘tea houses’ or ‘lodges,’ and most trekking tour operators do not promote these areas. This Nepal Panorama trek is genuinely one of the most secluded, scenic and unique trekking routes in a non-touristic part of the Nepal Himalayas.

This Nepal Panorama trek is ideal for families, less fit and elderly adventurers, as the altitude doesn’t go above 2100 meters, and daily hiking is 5-6 hours at a relaxed pace. This trek is also suitable during the winter months - where other treks are not - as the height is not too high (by Himalayan standards) so weather and temperatures are manageable.

This part of Nepal has a rich history of how the last dynasty came to rule Nepal (be prepared for an unofficial story that is “hushed’). It was also one of the favourite recruitment grounds of the world-renowned Gurkha soldiers.

Gurkhas are soldiers native to South Asia of Nepalese nationality and Indian Gorkha ethnicity recruited for the British Army, Nepalese Army, Indian Army, Gurkha Contingent Singapore, Gurkha Reserve Unit Brunei, UN peacekeeping forces and in war zones around the world. Gurkhas are closely associated with the khukuri, a forward-curving Nepali knife, and have a reputation for military prowess. Former Indian Army Chief of Staff Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw once stated that: "If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or he is a Gurkha." - Taken from Wikipedia

The accommodation on this trek is expedition-style, comfortable camping. All camping equipment, porterage or pack animals, trek leader, assistant guides, a trekking chef, and helpers are provided. A three-person tent is given for every two trekkers to make it more spacious and there is a dining tent, a toilet tent along with a portable toilet seat and a shower tent. Responsible Adventures Nepal work to provide as many creature comforts as possible and can tailor-make the trip to include anything your clients require.

To enhance your experience and ensure the safest and most comfortable trekking experience you will have an expert trek leader, a trekking chef, one assistant guide per 4 trekkers, Chef’s assistants and porters to carry all camping gear, food, and equipment.

For most of your clients, I am sure that food and beverage are very important. Luckily Raj is obsessed with providing your clients with the best food and beverages in the Nepal Himalayas - even when camping! Raj really is a pioneer of, "gastronome trekking" in the Himalayas and provides a varied, interesting menu including options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals. He includes superfoods and alkaline water as part of the ingredients to keep clients fit and healthy while also assisting in acclimatization to high altitudes. Little details like fresh ground coffee and the odd glass of wine also help to make treks with Responsible Adventures Nepal really special.

Itinerary Highlights:

  • Panoramic views of the snow-clad peaks: Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli, Boudha, Manaslu, and the Annapurna range are visible.

  • Tuppo Bhanjyang (2,100 meters), Ghumli Chowk (1,400 meters).

  • Hike through and visit small local hamlets and Gurung villages - learn about how settlements in this area came about and how they now live.

  • Visit small local schools and learn about local education.

  • Hike through and learn about local agriculture

At Responsible Adventures Nepal, they can then build this unique 8 8-day trek into a longer trip to see other highlights and off-the-beaten-track areas of Nepal as per individual client'’ interests and requirements. Some other areas and experiences they can tailor-make for your clients include:
